Committeeman Mary O'Connor is a lifelong resident of the 41st Ward.
She grew up in Norwood Park and attended local schools before graduating from Eastern Illinois University. She owns and operates O'Connor's Deli and Unforgettable Edibles Catering, both longtime businesses operated in our Ward. Mary served as president of the Edison Park Chamber of Commerce for the past six years, is a member of the Edison Park Community Council, and cofounded the Edison Park Turkey Trot.
As Committeman of the 41st Ward, she is striving to revitalize a Democratic presence in our community. Mary brings the same passsion and love of service to elected office that she has applied to every customer who has crossed the threshhold of her businesses. She strongly supports the tenets of the Democratic Party employment opportunities to our citizens. Mary is committed to her community and is working to improve the quality of life of every resident. She will continue to organize and promote the interests of the 41st Ward Democratic Organization and ask you to join her. |
